If you are applying directly from the college website, a section will be provided for submission either during application or after submission. If you are applying through a platform such as common application, you are required to input the name and email addresses of your references, after which they can write your recommendation and upload it to their account. You usually don't have access to these recommendation letters as they have to come directly from your recommenders without your knowledge. This helps the college ascertain the genuineness of the recommendation.
