For new students, the university always has on campus accommodation to make things easier for you in your first year. Once you accept your placement in your university of choice then you will have follow up meeting with the admissions office about residency, start of the semester, courses and university life. Also some schools offer on-campus accommodation to all undergraduate students for the whole degree period while other universities may only offer it for the first year. Make sure you contact your university to clarify these issues.
