Your personal statement is your chance to let the admission officers know who you are beyond academics. It is best to use this opportunity to share something core about yourself; something that makes you who you are. In general, a personal statement needs to be thoughtful and introspective. You need to show that you have undergone an experience that has taught you important life lessons and made you grow as an individual.
