NO.
I see Passport as the most valid and authentic International Identification Card and the globally single document that is acceptable outside the originating country as a proof of nationality of the holder. Therefore, in view of my definition, a student must have this International ID Card before talking of making application for admission to any overseas school for a study program. Passport is not included in the list of the expenses to be financed by any financier, loan provider or bodies and institutions offering scholarship to students. My advise is that international students should see passport as just a valid ID Card which must be in place before thinking of how to apply for a program of study overseas. Your international passport is one of the documents (eligibility criterias) to qualify you for scholarship as an international student. If this is true, how will you apply for and qualify for the scholarship without uploading your passport. Proverbially, I conclude that no man should expect a good samaritan to buy food for him when he has NO MOUTH to eat it!
