A GPA of 3.0(+) in a Grade Scale of 4.0 is usually preferred. However, the GPA requirement is usually set by individual institute according to their standard. For example the GPA requirement of Harvard University will be expected to be higher that some universities. Where a lower are acceptable, there will be conditions attached to the students offer of admission by such universities.
