Scholarship scams are fake scholarship offers. It isn't so hard to spot a scholarship scam. Most of them either have unreasonable requirements or sometimes, requirements that are way too easy. Avoid any scholarship that claims you have to make a payment to apply. Avoid clicking links from websites that aren't specifically about educational matters. Use well-established organisations like 8B, Scholarship Universe etc. Some colleges like University of Arizona even have their own scholarship database. Following these databases means you are less likely to run into scams.
