You can stay overseas after the completion of your program of study, provided you have a valid Visa.
If you are lucky to get a job on completion of your study program, your employer can sponsor and obtain a work visa for you. This will enable you stay back and work for him. The moment the Visa is approved and issued, the study visa expiry will no more have a negative effect like repatriation. The valid work visa covers your staying back to work.
