If you fail to pay your tuition fees, attend your classes and complete your studies, you will loose your F-1 Visa. The school has a deadline for reporting any student that abadon his/her study program by failing to attend classes without any justification approved by the school. The school officer in charge will report such student to SEVP and his/her visa status will change. The end result in a nutshell will be that, such a student will not be allowed to stay in the US, will need to go back to his home country.
