8B does not give students grants (be it full or partial one) but repayable education loans. Grants are usually given out without the expectation of repayment - this is not one of the objectives of founding 8B. Study abroad program funding and maintaining a database of scholarships for Africa students are some of the goals of 8B Education Investments. Presently, 8B is able to approve an education loan application that is less than or equal to $50,000. However, some of the Lending Partners on the 8B loan marketplace can approve up to $100,000 loan for a program of study.
